Terms of use
Last updated: 16 October 2026. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
These terms govern the use of Livraison Lefort by customers, recipients, couriers and partners. Ordering a ride or opening an account means accepting them. The service is provided by L21STUDIOS SARL (see legal notice).
1. The service
Livraison Lefort connects a person who wants a parcel delivered across town with a verified motorbike courier, and organises the ride: price, payment, handover codes, tracking. The service is available in the cities shown on the site (today Yaoundé and Douala).
2. Account
An account is personal. It is opened with a phone number and an email, and sign-in uses a one-time code sent to one of them. You are responsible for what is done from your account. An identifier (number, email) only opens sign-in once confirmed by a code; an identifier declared but not confirmed can be reclaimed by its real owner.
3. Price and payment
- The price is computed by our servers from the pickup and delivery points, according to the grid shown on the site. It is presented before confirmation and does not change afterwards, except for the pickup adjustment shown as "estimated" at order time.
- Payment is made before the ride, by Mobile Money (MTN MoMo or Orange Money). No cash on delivery.
- Until payment is confirmed, the order stays pending: it can be paid or cancelled from your area, free of charge.
4. Cancellation and refund
- Before a courier accepts the ride: free cancellation, full refund.
- After acceptance, as long as the parcel has not been collected: the pickup fee is kept to compensate the courier already on the way; the rest is refunded.
- Once the parcel has been collected, the order can no longer be cancelled.
- Refunds go to the Mobile Money account used for payment, within 2 to 3 working days.
5. Pickup and delivery codes
Each order has a pickup code (given by the customer to the courier) and, for each parcel, a delivery code (given by the recipient to the courier). These six-digit codes are sent by message as soon as payment is confirmed. They are proof of handover: only give them to the person collecting or bringing the parcel. "Trust" mode, if you enable it, lets the courier drop the parcel without a code; handover is then presumed done.
6. Accepted parcels
Documents, small parcels, meals and groceries, within what a motorbike carries safely. Refused: illegal or dangerous items, cash, weapons, products requiring a permit, live animals. The customer guarantees the declared contents; the courier may refuse a clearly non-compliant parcel, in which case the order is cancelled and refunded minus the pickup fee.
7. Parcel cover
- Without the option: in case of loss or damage attributable to the courier between pickup and handover, compensation is capped at the price of the ride.
- With the cover option (500 F or 2% of the declared value, whichever is higher): compensation goes up to the declared value of the parcel, on reasonable proof of that value.
- Any claim is made from the order page ("Report a problem") within 48 hours of the handover or the planned handover date.
8. Couriers
A courier is an independent person, verified by Lefort or by a partner (identity, licence, photo). They undertake to collect and hand over parcels only against a code, to follow road safety rules and to handle parcels with care. Lefort may suspend a courier in case of breach. The courier's pay is their share of the ride price, paid according to weekly statements; cancellation fees kept after acceptance go to them at the same share.
9. Partners
An organisation (company, association, union) may manage a team of couriers from its area. It is responsible for its couriers' files and receives the agreed share on their rides. It cannot change the sign-in identifiers of a person who already has an account.
10. Liability
Lefort does its best to find a courier quickly but does not guarantee a delay. We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather or an incomplete address. In case of dispute, write to us first (WhatsApp or email): most are settled in a few exchanges. Failing that, the courts of Yaoundé have jurisdiction, under Cameroonian law.
11. Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top of the page is authoritative. Orders already paid remain subject to the terms in force when they were paid.
